Privacy Notice

This comprehensive privacy notice explains which personal data we collect when you enlist in Rosary Knights, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. It is drafted in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its Regulations.

Data controller

Veraicon A.C., the civil association that coordinates the Rosary Knights apostolate, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide on this site and in your battalion's portal.

Data we collect

Depending on how you take part, we collect the following data:

Sensitive data

Belonging to Rosary Knights reveals your religious convictions, which the law treats as sensitive personal data. That is why we process it only with your express consent, which you give by ticking the acceptance box on the form, and solely for the purposes of the apostolate described here. We do not collect any other sensitive data.

These are not essential, and you may refuse them without affecting your enlistment:

To refuse, simply leave the notices box unticked on the form, turn off notifications in your profile, or write to us through any of our contact channels. Refusing does not affect your enlistment or your access to the portal.

All processing has a single aim: to further the purposes of the Rosary Knights apostolate. We never use your data for commercial purposes or hand it to third parties for theirs.

Processors and transfers

We do not sell or give away your data. To run the platform we use providers that process data on our behalf (processors), which means transferring data outside Mexico to countries whose protection rules may differ. They are:

The platform's source code is hosted on GitHub, which receives no personal data.

The coordinators of the battalion we direct you to will know your name and WhatsApp number in order to contact you. They commit to using them only to coordinate the battalion.

Beyond the above, we will only share data when an authority requires it in accordance with the law.

Your rights

You may access, rectify, cancel or object to the processing of your data (ARCO rights), as well as revoke your consent or limit the use and disclosure of your data. To exercise them, write to us by WhatsApp at +52 81 8114 9399 or by email at enlace@caballerosdelrosario.com, stating your name and the number you registered with. We will reply within a maximum of 20 business days, as the law requires.

If you believe we have not handled your request or have violated your right to data protection, you may turn to Mexico's National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI) or the authority that legally replaces it.

If you live outside Mexico, we also recognize the rights granted to you by your country's data protection legislation.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies it needs to work:

We measure visits with analytics that use no cookies and do not identify you personally. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Minors

Children under 14 cannot register. If you are 14 to 17 years old, you may enlist by giving the name and WhatsApp number of your parent or guardian; your account stays on hold until we receive their authorization. If we do not receive it within a reasonable time, we delete your registration.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as you are part of the apostolate or remain interested in taking part. If you ask to leave, we delete or anonymize your record within 30 days, except for what the law obliges us to keep. The record of the consents you gave is kept as evidence for as long as the processing lasts.

Security

We protect your data with technical and administrative measures: encrypted connection, passwords stored with irreversible encryption, database access restricted to the national coordination team and a log of changes. No system is infallible; if a breach affecting your rights were to occur, we will inform you.

Changes to this notice

We will publish any change on this same page with a new version and date. If the change involves new purposes that require your consent, we will ask for it again.
